This was my "room" in Dakhla Oasis in the Western Desert. By far one of my favourite things we did on the tour was sleeping out under the stars. I had a marvelous light show before I went to bed and when I got up in the middle of the night. It was a cold night but I just hunkered down in by sleeping bag (felt like Fall in Canada).

The sunset in Kharga Oasis in the Western Desert. We went for a walk before dinner and I just loved the colour of the sky and the interesting shapes of the clouds.
We made a quick stop by Bagdad for a photo opportunity. Don't worry, it wasn't
that Baghdad!

Wow Lisa. It looks amazing!!! I obviously made a big mistake. Definitely doing a desert tour now. Every photo looks so different. Want to see ALL the photos when you hit the UK!! That lass travelling in Egypt? Shows you totally made the right decisions. Egyptians don't approve of lone women travelling. You shouldn't encounter those negative attitudes, from here on you're firmly in well trodden backpacker territory. Watching you every step of the way mate
